Book Early — Vegas Photography Gets Booked Out

Las Vegas convention photographers book up 6–8 weeks before CES. If you're exhibiting at CES, the Consumer Electronics Show, or any major Las Vegas trade show, post your job on ProShoot Las Vegas at least 6 weeks out. Waiting until two weeks before the show significantly reduces your options and increases pricing.

CES-Specific Photography Considerations

CES is physically massive — the Las Vegas Convention Center's West Hall, Central Hall, and the Venetian Expo are miles apart. Confirm your photographer knows exactly which hall and booth number they're reporting to. Security at major shows requires exhibitor badges for non-attendee photographers — confirm credential process with your exhibits manager before show day.

Lighting at CES varies dramatically by hall — the West Hall's modern design provides better ambient light than Central Hall's older infrastructure. Bring this up with your photographer during pre-show briefing so they pack appropriate equipment (speedlights, LED panels) for your specific hall's conditions.

Making Press Coverage More Likely

Press photographers at CES are overwhelmed. Your best chance of earning editorial coverage is having compelling visual moments during scheduled press hours (typically 8–10am on Day 1 and Day 2 before floor opens). Stage your strongest product demo for press time, have your brand photographer capture the same moments from a different angle, and prepare a press kit with your 10 best booth images ready for distribution by noon on Day 1. Media that doesn't photograph your booth at CES will sometimes use your press kit images instead.
